One of the best sources of over 400 jigs,reels,and Appalachian Mt Tunes in standard notation.  Also available as Banjo, Mandolin, and Guitar tab books.

The Portland Collection, by Susan Songer, songer@teleport.com  
A collection of old time and contemporary contra dance tunes played in the Pacific Northwest.  This is a good source for some "new" old-time dance style tunes.  They are working on a CD of some of the tunes,  but no Volume 2 at this time  !!

String Band Classics for Mandolin, by Dick Bruce, Mel Bay Publications
A dozen tunes from the Fuzzy Mt String Band CD. The CD is included and is an excellent example of North Carolina string band styles.
